No Leaks: Rockstar May Delay Physical Release of GTA VI

Developers of all major games face storyline leaks: by obtaining a physical copy, users and unscrupulous bloggers violate the embargo and leak all the details of the game online. Of course, Rockstar cannot allow such a situation with GTA VI and, according to an insider, will take a rather radical step.

What is Known

The Polish portal PPE, citing its insider Graczdari (who previously correctly named the release date of Microsoft Flight Simulator on PS5), reported that Rockstar and Take-Two will not release disc editions of the most anticipated game in the history of the industry until its digital release takes place.

Moreover, even after that, companies may delay the release of physical copies by several weeks or a couple of months, possibly until the beginning of 2027, although there will be no reasons for such delays.

Theoretically, in combination with the careful selection of those who will receive digital keys for GTA VI, such a step will allow, if not to exclude, then at least minimize leaks and keep the plot of the criminal action in secret until its release.

Recall that the release of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19 only on PS5 and Xbox Series.
