More and more users are choosing OLED screens, ignoring information about their burnout — this is according to fresh statistics.
What is known
Analysts from UBI Research reported that in 2025, shipments of OLED panels for laptops and monitors grew by 64% year-on-year.
Thus, 3.2 million devices with OLED screens were shipped last year compared to 2 million in 2024, and in 2022 this figure was slightly more than half a million.
This statistic does not include smartphones, tablets, wearable electronics, and televisions; it exclusively concerns desktop monitors and laptops.
Shipments are expected to grow to 5 million devices in 2026, and the figure will exceed 15 million units by 2030.
According to UBI Research data, Samsung is the leading producer of OLED screens without specifying the percentage ratio, but it is stated that LG shipped about 400,000 panels last year.
