Samsung flagships will not become more expensive, and the Ultra model will even be cheaper: Insider confirmed great news about prices for Galaxy S26 series smartphones
Another important news about Samsung's pricing policy has arrived. We have already reported, citing billbil-kun, that the new Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro TWS headphones will remain at the same price as the previous generation models, and now another authoritative insider has confirmed that the Galaxy S26 series smartphones will not become more expensive.
What is known
In early January, Korean media reported that Samsung has frozen the price of its flagships — the cost of the Galaxy S26 lineup will not differ from the 2025 models; now this information has been confirmed and supplemented by German journalist Roland Quandt.
According to him, the basic Galaxy S26 and S26+ will go on sale at the previous price, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra with 256 GB and 512 GB flash memory will cost customers €100 less than the 2025 Ultra flagship. The starting price of this model with 256 GB will be around €1,350, the 512 GB variant – €1,470, while the cost of the Galaxy S26 Ultra with 1 TB will correspond to the 2025 model.
Roland Quandt noted that the price increase of RAM chips did indeed increase the cost of the Galaxy S26 lineup, but Samsung took on all the costs, although the company refused pre-order bonuses and free memory upgrades.
disclaimer: this is based on retail data from a country isn't paying in Euro. will have an article up on this later today.

Official prices may vary slightly, as the insider received them from a country where euros are not the official currency.
According to unconfirmed information, the new smartphone series Galaxy S26 will be presented on February 25 and will go on sale on March 11.
