Nubia is bringing the stylish gaming smartphone Red Magic 11 Air to the global market, which was only released in China last week.
What is known
The company opened a page for RedMagic 11 Air on its global site, announcing that users will be able to reserve the smartphone from February 5, pre-orders will begin on February 10, and sales will start on February 11. Prices start at $500 for the version with 12/512 GB.
The global version of RedMagic 11 Air is no different from the Chinese version and is also equipped with a 6.85” AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The 16 MP front camera is placed under the screen, providing a "true full screen" effect without cuts or holes.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite (not Gen 5) chipset paired with an additional RedMagic Redcore R4 graphics processor is responsible for performance, which ensures high performance in games.
The cooling system includes an active turbo fan, an enlarged vapor chamber, and graphene layers, which reduce heat during long gaming sessions.
RedMagic 11 Air features a 7000 mAh battery that provides long battery life even under high load. The smartphone supports fast 100W charging and bypass charging. Such battery specifications still allowed it to fit into a case with a thickness of 7.8 mm.
The smartphone is available in configurations of up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage, supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and also has an IR port.
