Redmi Pad 2 Pro Introduced - Affordable Tablet with Large Screen for Study and Multimedia

In addition to the new sub-flagship Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max smartphones, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet - an affordable and convenient device aimed at schoolchildren and students.

What's Known

Redmi Pad 2 Pro received a 12.1” display with a 2.5K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, making it one of the most interesting models in the budget segment.

The performance is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip, built on a 4-nm process, which will provide comfortable operation in educational, office, and multimedia tasks.

The tablet is equipped with a 12,000 mAh battery with support for reverse wired charging up to 27 W, allowing the device to recharge other gadgets.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which is rare for modern tablets.

The body is made of metal, with a thickness of 7.5 mm, dust and splash protection meets the IP52 standard. The sound is delivered by four symmetrical speakers, and the software part is presented by HyperOS, optimized for a large screen.

Redmi Pad 2 Pro is available in configurations of 6/128 GB and 8/256 GB, in Wi-Fi and 5G versions, with a starting price of about $260 (converted from yuan).

Buyers will be offered three body colors - silver, purple, and dark gray.

In addition, Xiaomi is preparing a limited series Harry Potter Edition with a unique body design, customized HyperOS, a branded case, bag, and stylus.

So far, Xiaomi has not announced an international version of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro.
