Samsung has ended software support for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra

Shortly before the release of the new Galaxy S26 flagship smartphone line, Samsung announced the cessation of software support for the Galaxy S21 series.
What is known
The former flagships Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra were released in early 2021 and received the promised five years of updates. Their history included four major Android updates from the 12th to the 15th with the One UI 7.0 shell.
The final patch for the S21 series was released in November 2025, marking the end of their support.
Samsung will continue to release security patches for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra and close discovered vulnerabilities, but no new features will appear for them.
