It has long been known that Samsung is preparing a collection of magnetic accessories for the Galaxy S26 series smartphones. In early renders, the smartphones were depicted with characteristic magnetic rings on the back panel, suggesting that a special magnetic case would no longer be needed for wireless charging. This pleased potential buyers of Samsung flagships, but unexpectedly this assumption was refuted.

What is known

The reputable insider Ice Universe, who regularly shares reliable information, reported that Samsung smartphone enthusiasts would still not be able to do without magnetic cases because the Galaxy S26 itself will not have magnets, even though previously it was stated to have magnets.

According to unconfirmed information, the new Galaxy S26 smartphone series will be presented on February 25, and they will go on sale on March 11. At the same time, the public will be introduced to magnetic accessories and Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro headphones.
