Nvidia will not release any new consumer video cards in 2026, as reported by The Information.

What is known

According to sources, Nvidia has decided to postpone the release of new video cards due to high demand for its accelerators in data centers.

The rapid growth of AI company needs has led to Nvidia being unable to meet their demands while simultaneously supplying the consumer market. As a result, even the RTX 5000 Super, which was expected to be released in 2026, has been postponed and is now expected in 2027.

Moreover, the company will reduce the supply of current video cards, and the RTX 6000 series on the Rubin architecture will not be released at the end of 2027 as initially planned; it should only be expected in 2028.

The only thing Nvidia will please this year is the ARM chips for Windows computers N1 and N1X on ARM architecture. This will likely happen in the first half of the year.
