JLab introduced Blue XL — a unique Bluetooth speaker shaped like giant headphones

American company JLab has introduced a unique Bluetooth speaker shaped like giant headphones. The model is called Blue XL and looks like a full-size headset, but is actually a pair of powerful speakers that can theoretically be worn on the head or kept around the neck, although the manufacturer does not recommend this due to the high volume of the speaker. Therefore, it is better to use Blue XL as a regular speaker, and it also makes a nice interior decoration.

What is known

Blue XL is equipped with two 2.5” speakers and passive radiators, which provide enhanced bass and a total power of up to 30 W. The ear cushions are made of a material that mimics leather, and the body is painted in a signature blue color — there are no other options yet.

The new product supports Bluetooth 5.4 protocol and SBC/AAC codecs, operates autonomously for up to 20 hours, and a full charge takes about 3 hours.

JLab Blue XL is sold in a limited edition through the company's official store for $100.
