Casio has introduced new Sheen watches with radio control and Tough Solar technology
Casio has announced two new models of women's Sheen watches in Japan — SHW-5300CGL-7A and SHW-5300PGL-7A. Both novelties combine a radio-controlled mechanism (for Japan and China), Casio's proprietary Tough Solar technology, and water resistance up to 100 meters.
What is known
The watches are equipped with three hands with auto-correction and a calendar that operates in fully automatic mode. In the event of a radio signal loss, accuracy is maintained within ±15 seconds per month. The design features gunmetal color indices and a simple date display at 3 o'clock.
The cases of both models are made of stainless steel with an ion plate in rose gold shade, and the dial is covered with sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating. The difference lies in the strap design: SHW-5300CGL-7A has a beige leather strap with embossing, while SHW-5300PGL-7A features a black strap with a similar pattern.
The cost of each model is ¥35,200 (about $224). Pre-orders are already open, with official sales expected to start in February 2026. It is not yet known whether these models will appear in international markets.
