The next foldable smartphone Xiaomi Mi MIX Fold may be equipped with a sub-screen front camera

Xiaomi only recently introduced its first foldable smartphone Mi MIX Fold to the market, and now there is information that the company is already working on its successor.

What we know

According to rumors, the device is codenamed j18s. Externally and in terms of characteristics it will not differ much from the current model. The device will also have a picture refresh rate of 90 Hz, but this time both screens will support it, not just the external one. The smartphone is also expected with the same 108 MP triple camera and a liquid lens with support for 3x optical zoom. 

The main difference for the new Mi MIX Fold will be the front camera. It should be installed under the main screen, the same as for the upcoming foldable smartphone Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Unfortunately, there are no other details and timing of the release of the new item yet. Perhaps the smartphone will be presented at the end of this or early next year.
