Audi integrates EasyPark and ryd apps for parking, charging, and refueling

Audi has added two new apps to its digital services ecosystem — EasyPark and ryd. They are directly integrated into the MMI multimedia system and allow payments for parking, fuel, charging, and even car washes without using a smartphone.

What's Known

The ryd app is already available on all Audi models with the Audi Application Store. EasyPark will be gradually implemented by the end of the first quarter of 2026. To use the services, it is necessary to create an account and link a payment method.

EasyPark supports over 60,000 parking locations in approximately 1,300 cities across Europe — from street parking to private lots and garages. When the car stops in a supported area and the gear selector is shifted to "P", a pop-up window offering to start a parking session appears on the MMI system screen.

As the paid time comes to an end, the driver receives a notification on the smartphone and can extend the session through the smartphone or MMI. The system automatically ends the parking session when the car leaves the spot and accelerates over 15 km/h.

The ryd app combines payments for refueling, charging, and car washes in one interface. In Germany, the service works with major networks such as Aral and Esso, as well as local operators. It covers 90% of the country's charging stations. In total, ryd supports over 10,000 gas stations and more than 1 million charging points throughout Europe.

Nearest refueling stations are automatically determined, after which a corresponding window opens in the MMI. The driver selects a station, enters the pump number, sets the maximum fuel volume, chooses the payment method, and follows the on-screen instructions. After refueling is completed, the confirmation is displayed in the system.

Charging electric vehicles works on a similar principle. The app helps find a suitable station and add it to navigation with a single tap. The e-tron route planner starts preconditioning the battery. When approaching the station, ryd opens automatically.

Simply select and activate the charging point, connect the cable, and end the session through MMI or by disconnecting the plug. Payment is made automatically — without separate contact with the operator, using a charging card, or QR code. You can also book a car wash at individual stations through the app.

The services are available on cars without a panoramic display with the current version of the Audi Application Store. For models with a panoramic display, software version 3.10 or higher is required — this can be checked in the myAudi app in the updates section.
