Xiaomi Hipee Smart Blood Pressure Watch: Possibly the largest smartwatch that monitors blood pressure around the clock

Xiaomi has introduced on its Youpin crowdfunding platform a new product from the Hipee brand specializing in medical products - the Hipee Smart Blood Pressure Watch.

What is special

This is not a classic smartwatch that we are used to: the gadget is quite massive, bulky and weighs 76 g. But this is not an ordinary sports accessory, the main purpose of the watch is to track blood pressure.

The gadget is capable of dynamically monitoring blood pressure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using a variety of sensors and transducers. It starts monitoring the BP as soon as the user raises his hand to his chest with the palm resting on his chest. This is a quick and convenient way to do it without unnecessary steps.

The watch connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and an app. They are charged via a USB 2.0 port, but the battery capacity, as well as other characteristics, are not indicated.
