Xiaomi Tag Tracker Prepares for European Release — Budget Alternative to AirTag

Evidence of the imminent release of the Xiaomi Tag tracker, which is a budget alternative to Apple's popular AirTag, has been found on Xiaomi's global website.

What is Known

The novelty has long been rumored, and it will soon be available for purchase in European stores, as prices are listed on the site - €17.99 for one device or €59.99 for a set of four.

Xiaomi's tracker has a 7.2 mm thick body and a replaceable CR2032 battery, which will provide about a year of autonomous operation.

Buyers should be interested to know that the Xiaomi Tag supports two search systems: Apple Find My and Google Find My Device.

Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC are used for searching, but the UWB technology, which more accurately determines the distance and position of objects, is not supported by Xiaomi's new product, probably omitted to reduce the tracker's cost.
