Aesthetically flawless and technically perfect: Chinese bloggers assembled a super PC for $60,000 in a spherical glass case
The team of bloggers from the Bro Cooling channel presented an unusual and extremely expensive PC build worth around $60,000. The main feature of the project is the case in the form of a huge glass sphere. Despite its futuristic appearance, this is not a custom development, but a modified version of the InWin Winbot, priced at around $3,000.
What is known
The main part of the budget went to components. Inside, there is a 96-core AMD Threadripper Pro 9995WX processor and a professional Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell graphics card with 96 GB of video memory. These two components alone cost about $20,000 together.
The system also includes:
- Asus Pro WS WRX90E Sage SE motherboard,
- 256 GB of RAM,
- high-speed SSD drives,
- a customized cooling system adapted for the spherical case.
The spherical case not only attracts attention but also complicates the assembly process. The project authors modified the Winbot to accommodate a massive workstation inside and ensure stable cooling.
The assembly process is shown in detail and step-by-step, and the final result exceeds all expectations: the mega PC looks aesthetically flawless and unconventional, and the RGB lighting accentuates the fantastic appearance of the spherical PC. Without a doubt, a computer with such characteristics will provide unreal performance even in the most resource-intensive tasks, such as working with large language models or mining cryptocurrencies (although now is not the most favorable time for that).
