Exclusivity turned out to be short-lived: already in March, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released on PC

At Sony's State of Play, Kojima Productions announced the PC version of the highly acclaimed Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, confirming that the game will not remain a PlayStation 5 console exclusive for long.

What is known

The release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach took place in the summer of 2025, and on March 19 it will appear on Steam and Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are already open.

Like the first part, the sequel is being ported by the experienced studio Nixxes Software. Improved frame rates, support for ultra-wide monitors, 4K resolution, upscaling technology integration, and other technical improvements are announced.
