Affordable Hisense M7 Mini LED TVs with 4K, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and Google TV are Now Available Outside of China
Hisense is expanding its range of affordable Mini LED TVs and is introducing the new Hisense M7 series beyond China, which features improved backlighting, high brightness, and support for modern image standards. The model is currently available only in the USA and may interest those who need a quality 4K TV with premium technologies but without the high price of flagship Ultra LED models.
What is known
The Hisense M7 series includes models with screen sizes of 50, 55, and 65 inches and features Mini LED backlighting with many local dimming zones, providing deep blacks and high contrast. Peak brightness reaches 1000 nits, and the DCI-P3 color space coverage is claimed to be 95%, making the TV suitable for HDR content. HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG are supported, as well as proprietary image enhancement algorithms from Hisense.
The TVs operate on the Google TV platform with the VIDAA shell, which has received an updated interface, support for popular streaming services including Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+, and a built-in voice assistant. For gamers, there are modes with low latency, VRR, and ALLM, with the panel refresh rate reaching 120 Hz in the larger sizes.
Sound is provided by a stereo system with Dolby Atmos support, and the port set includes four HDMI 2.0 inputs, USB 2.0 Type-A, Ethernet, optical audio output, cable/antenna input, and a 3.5 mm composite AV connector.
The 50 and 55 models are already available in US stores priced at $278 and $298 respectively.
