New Garmin 13.25 Update Fixes Smart Wake Alarm Issues

Garmin has released a new update for its Instinct series smartwatches — system software version 13.25. It is now available for Instinct 3, Instinct E, and Instinct Crossover.

What is Known

The main goal of the update was to fix an issue related to the recently added Smart Wake Alarm feature. This tool allows the watch to choose the optimal wake-up time based on the user's sleep data, helping to avoid feeling drowsy. Instead of a precise time, the user selects a 30-minute window, and the watch determines the best moment for the alarm signal.

The 13.25 update also brings improvements to translations in Garmin Connect Mobile. Recall that the previous version 13.24 added a new Treadmill Walk activity, the ability to customize the Morning Report for Instinct 3 and Instinct E, as well as new watch face designs for Instinct Crossover.

Currently, about 20% of Instinct 3, Instinct E, and Instinct Crossover users have received the 13.25 update. The download happens automatically via the Garmin Connect app or the Garmin Express program on a computer.
