Ubisoft has introduced the Silent Hunt operation, which will be part of the eleventh year of support for the popular online shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege X.

What is Known

As previously reported, Silent Hunt will add a new operator to the game – Solid Snake from the iconic game series Metal Gear Solid. In Rainbow Six Siege X, he is armed with a silenced pistol, can confuse enemies with smoke grenades, and track their location using a special gadget.

In the announcement trailer, Snake stealthily infiltrates a secret enemy base accompanied by another famous spy – Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell (another cameo instead of a new game). MGS fans will be pleased that Snake is once again voiced by actor David Hayter, whose voice appears in almost all parts of the series (except the fifth).

The developers talked more about the gameplay for Snake in a special trailer.

You will be able to try out the new operator and other innovations of the Silent Hunt operation on test servers from February 17, with the full event scheduled to start on March 3.
