Sony offers big discounts on annual PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra plans — only $99.99

As part of the Lunar New Year promotion, Sony is offering a significant discount on upgrading from the standard PlayStation Plus plan to extended plans, as well as signing up for an annual Extra and Premium subscription.

What is known

The promotion runs until February 26, and due to the pricing characteristics, the Extra and Premium subscriptions temporarily have the same price — $99.99 for a full year (instead of $134.99 and 159.99 respectively). Attention, the discount only applies to the annual plan, not the monthly subscription.

Under this offer, there is no reason to refuse Premium, as it includes all the content of the Extra plan but adds classic games, game trials, cloud gaming, and access to Ubisoft+ Classics.

When upgrading from PS Plus Essential to other subscription options, the discount is calculated based on how many paid days the user has left and can be 35% or even slightly more.

The promotion is valid in North America and some European countries.
