The official presentation of the mid-budget smartphone Google Pixel 10a took place, which, as insiders reported, received a meager set of updates but retained an attractive price.

What is known

Pixel 10a is equipped with a 6.3” Plastic OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2424×1080 pixels, and a peak brightness of up to 2000 nits. The body has IP68 protection and a new Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protective coating, replacing the outdated Gorilla Glass 3.

The smartphone is powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor. Memory configurations include 8 GB LPDDR5X and 128/256 GB UFS 3.1 flash memory with no expansion option.

The most noticeable update of the Pixel 10a is the camera module, which is completely flush with the body and has lost the small bulge, but otherwise, the optics have not changed: a 48 MP main camera, a 13 MP ultra-wide sensor, support for video up to 4K at 60 FPS, and a 13 MP front camera.

The smartphone has a 5100 mAh battery supporting 45 W wired charging and fast wireless charging under the Qi standard.

One of the important improvements is the support for Bluetooth 6.0. Google Pixel 10a comes with Android 16 and will receive updates for 7 years.

The price of the Google Pixel 10a is $499 (the same price as the Google Pixel 9a), but as part of the pre-order, the 256 GB version is offered for $284. Note that in Europe, the smartphone is more expensive, for example, in Germany — €549 and without a discount.

Available colors: Obsidian, Fog, Lavender, and Berry.

Pre-orders are already open, and sales are set to begin on March 4.
