Sony's CFO, Tao Lin, commented on the difficult situation in the global component market and confirmed that the PS5 price will remain the same, at least until the end of the next fiscal year (until April 1, 2027).
At the same time, the company will try to increase the margin of its products "by monetizing the user base and increasing revenue from software (games) and network services."
