Casio launches three updated G-Shock models in the US: main changes and features
Casio officially introduced three updated models of the classic G-Shock lineup — GW2310U-1, GW6900U-1, and GX56UBB-1 — to the US market. All of them are modernized versions of the watches and have improved energy efficiency. At the beginning of 2026, these models already appeared in other regions, and in early February, rumors about their release in the US emerged.
What is known
The GW2310U-1 and GW6900U-1 models are available in the official Casio online store for $155 each. The GX56UBB-1 version costs $165. However, at the time of publication, GW2310U-1 and GX56UBB-1 are temporarily out of stock.
All three new products are equipped with updated modules and have received LED backlighting instead of electroluminescent (EL), providing lower energy consumption. The watches are made in the signature bulky case of black resin with a matching strap, support Tough Solar charging, and are water-resistant up to 200 meters.

GW2310U-1 and GW6900U-1 are radio-controlled models with support for world time, stopwatch, timer, and daily alarm. GX56UBB-1 is dirt-resistant and has a fully black display for a monochrome design. The new products are already sold in some European countries, including Germany.
