The release of the unusual noir shooter Mouse: P.I. For Hire was expected on March 19, but today it became known that gamers will have to wait a little longer.

What is known

Publisher PlaySide and Polish indie studio Fumi Games announced the postponement of the release to April 16. The reason for the delay is trivial: "a little more time is needed to polish the game to make it truly unforgettable."

Recall, in Mouse: P.I. For Hire, classic American animation harmoniously combines with a dark story of corruption, organized crime, and the personal demons of the main character Mouse: P.I. For Hire, Jack Pepper (Jack Pepper)— a private detective who stands against thugs and corrupt authorities of Mouseburg. He will be voiced by Troy Baker, whose voice brings to life pivotal characters in cult games, such as Joel from The Last of Us, Higgs from Death Stranding, and the protagonist in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Players are in for a dramatic storyline, dynamic shootouts, dark humor, and battles with creative bosses.

The aesthetics and plot of Mouse: P.I. For Hire are perfectly highlighted by the jazz music typical of the '30s.

The game will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
