Honor's innovative gadget, the Robot Phone, is generating huge interest with its autonomous robotic camera. The Chinese brand will hold a global presentation of the novelty on March 1 as part of the MWC 2026 exhibition in Barcelona, and to remind of this event, it published a video on its social networks.

What is known

The footage shows the autonomous operation of the Robot Phone camera at some kind of festive event; it not only rotates around its axis 360 degrees but also changes the tilt angle of the sensors and moves in all planes, not missing important events.

It is assumed that in an inactive state, the camera will hide inside the corresponding block, and when needed, it activates, observes what is happening around, and shoots when the user wants it. In addition, such a design will allow taking selfies using a powerful main camera rather than a more modest front-facing one.
