Galaxy S26 Ultra receives the fastest charging among Samsung flagships

Samsung has updated its flagship lineup, and one of the key changes in the new Galaxy S26 Ultra concerns charging speed. The smartphone supports wired charging with a power of 60 W. This is the highest rate among all the company's previous flagships.

What is known

For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra and other models in the series supported 45 W. The switch to 60 W signifies a speed increase of about 33%. In practice, this allows a 5000 mAh battery to charge up to 75% in 30 minutes.

Since batteries charge the fastest at low levels, even a few minutes of connection can add a significant percentage of charge. In addition, Samsung has updated the wireless mode. The Galaxy S26 Ultra supports wireless charging with a power of 25 W, which enhances its practicality compared to previous generations.
