The American company Sandmarc introduced a telephoto lens that significantly increases the range of quality iPhone photos.

The accessory is named Tetraprism 72mm and is compatible with the latest Apple smartphone models.

What is known

Tetraprism 72mm enhances the iPhone's zoom capability threefold. It weighs 180 grams, has a height of 70 mm and a diameter of 40.5 mm, and features a built-in 17 mm threaded connector. The finished design resembles a classic camera.

Sandmarc claims that the presented device perfectly complements the iPhone 17 Pro telephoto lens, and when used together, the system can provide 24x magnification through optical enhancement.

The accessory can also be used with older models, for example, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max can achieve a hybrid 15x zoom.

How it works

With the Sandmarc lens, there is no need to rely on digital cropping — Tetraprism 72mm uses multi-element multi-layer glass with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and maintain color accuracy. The improved optical compression results in more natural photo depth.
