Media: The second main character of the new part of Wolfenstein, along with B.J. Blazkowicz, will be a Ukrainian girl named Sophia
Interesting information about the new part of Wolfenstein has appeared online, which the Swedish studio MachineGames has repeatedly hinted at creating.
Gamers have been dreaming of seeing the completion of the yet unfinished trilogy since 2016, and now we know the first details of the game, but unfortunately, they are still in the category of rumors.
What is known
The authoritative portal MP1st confirmed that MachineGames is indeed working on Wolfenstein III — this name is still provisional, and in development, the game is under the codename Valkyrie.
It seems that in terms of the plot, the long-awaited shooter may resemble the first part of The Last of Us or, for example, A Plague Tale, as the brutal Nazi killer B.J. Blazkowicz will have to accompany and protect... a Ukrainian girl named Sophia aged 8-11 along with her dog Ralph. It is possible that in this way the developers want to draw attention to the current suffering of Ukraine.
It is reported that the game has already involved director of acting Tom Keegan and casting director Emily Schweber.
The motion capture process is planned to start in April and be completed by the end of the year, therefore, Wolfenstein 3 is unlikely to be released before 2028.
