Lenovo's experiments continue: the company will surprise gamers with the foldable hybrid portable console Legion Go Fold with an 11.6” screen
Lenovo continues to experiment with the displays and form factors of its gadgets. After a series of conceptual laptops, one of which caused a funny situation on a popular late-night show, the company is preparing to surprise the public with a foldable gaming console.
What is known
The Windows Latest portal shared exclusive information about the gadget called Legion Go Fold.
The basis of this device will be a foldable POLED display, the diagonal of which is 7.7” when folded and 11.6” when unfolded. Essentially, it will be a tablet to which you can attach a conventional controller or magnetic keyboard, turning it into a compact laptop.
In terms of specifications, it will not be the most impressive platform, as the Legion Go Fold will receive a Core Ultra 7 258V chipset, which underperforms compared to the new Arc B390 but has a decent iGPU.
It is stated that the novelty will have 32 GB of RAM and a modest battery with a capacity of 48 Wh, which is unlikely to be sufficient for long gaming sessions, especially considering the screen diagonal. However, since this is still just a concept, all specifications are provisional and may change.
Lenovo plans to present Legion Go Fold at the MWC exhibition, which will be held in Barcelona from March 2 to 5.
