1300 euros — and it's yours! The stylish flagship Huawei Mate 80 Pro debuts in Europe
During a global presentation in Madrid, Huawei introduced the international version of the flagship smartphone Mate 80 Pro, which debuted with huge success in China in November 2025. Notably, this is the first smartphone of such a class released by Huawei to the global market in four years.
The original Mate 80 lineup includes four smartphones of different levels and price categories, but only the Pro version will be available outside China.
What is known
The smartphone features a 6.75” LTPO OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The device runs on an improved 7nm Kirin 9030 chipset and has a 5750 mAh battery. Fast charging is supported - 100W wired and 80W wireless.
Mate 80 Pro is protected against dust and water according to IP68 and IP69 standards. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 are supported.
The main camera module features a 50 MP sensor, a variable aperture lens (F/1.4–F/4.0), and optical stabilization. The module responsible for 4x optical zoom shooting is equipped with a 48 MP sensor, and it is also used for macro shooting. The ultra-wide-angle module is equipped with a 40 MP sensor. The smartphone supports 4K video recording with all modules, including the 13 MP front camera.
The global version of the Mate 80 Pro uses not the universal HarmonyOS, which Huawei integrates into all its devices, but the EMUI 15.0 shell.
The gadget is presented in a single configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory in green, gold, and black colors.
