Casio introduced the digital watch W-221H-1BV with autonomy up to 10 years

Casio has introduced a new model of digital watch W-221H-1BV. This is the third option in the line of digital watches with a declared battery life of up to 10 years.

What is known

The watch has a polymer case measuring 43.7 × 38.4 × 12.2 mm and weighs 35 g. It is water-resistant up to 50 meters. Powered by a CR2032 battery. Equipped with an LCD display with an amber LED backlight, choice of backlight duration 1.5 or 3 seconds, and afterglow function.

Features include world time for 29 time zones (48 cities), a stopwatch with 1/100 second accuracy and auto-start, a 24-hour timer with auto-repeat, three alarms (one with snooze function), hourly signal, and a full automatic calendar up to the year 2099. The declared accuracy is ±30 seconds per month.

The international version is expected to be available at a price close to the cost of Japanese models, which were previously priced at about ¥6,050 (around $40).
