Lenovo Unveils Game-Changing Foldable Console: Legion Go Fold at MWC 2026
At the MWC 2026 exhibition, which is currently taking place in Barcelona, Lenovo showcased a prototype of an unusual device — the Legion Go Fold.
This is a portable gaming console on Windows, which is a logical continuation of Lenovo's experiments with displays and form factors, and moreover, it can be used as a laptop.
What's Known
The core of the Legion Go Fold is a foldable POLED display, which measures 7.7” when folded, 11.6” when unfolded, and its frequency is declared at 165 Hz.
In its basic use, the gadget differs little from, for example, the Steam Deck, since the “extra” part of the display is folded back (and only back!). But in the unfolded state, the user gets a huge display that can be used in both portrait and landscape orientation.
The controllers easily detach, and when magnetically connected to each other, they turn into a full-fledged gamepad.
Legion Go Fold is not only a gaming platform but also a fully functional working device: at any time, you can connect a keyboard with a trackpad and thus turn the console into a laptop.
High performance is ensured by the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V Lunar Lake processor with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB storage. However, the capacity is limited to 48 Wh, which with such a large screen does not allow for high autonomy. But since the Legion Go Fold is a concept, Lenovo engineers may change the battery before its release (if it happens).
