Xiaomi Unveils Futuristic Vision GT Car for Gran Turismo 7

Xiaomi presented a model of China's first electric car created exclusively for the game at the MWC 2026 exhibition in Barcelona. The futuristic and likely very fast electric car will soon appear in the Gran Turismo 7 racing simulator.

What is known

Xiaomi Vision GT is a two-door electric hypercar developed specifically for the virtual world of Gran Turismo 7. This is the first 'Vision GT' format vehicle from a Chinese brand. Previously, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra appeared in the game as the first Chinese car in the series.

According to the automaker, Vision GT is built on a 900-volt platform using silicon carbide. However, it refers to a model for video game purposes. The company made a full-size model for the Mobile World Congress 2026 exhibition in Barcelona, but there is no information about its technical specifications.

Vision GT is very low. Almost all body elements are designed with aerodynamics in mind. Inside, there is a two-seat configuration with a panoramic display at the bottom of the windshield and a Formula 1 style steering wheel with several controls and built-in screens.

Vision GT continues the tradition of radical concepts in the Vision Gran Turismo series. More than 40 brands participate in the project, presenting their virtual cars, including Volkswagen, Bugatti, Ferrari, Chevrolet, Porsche, and Jaguar. Xiaomi Vision GT will soon join the list of cars in Gran Turismo 7.
