Lenovo unveiled the Legion 7a — a thin gaming laptop that became one of the most notable premieres of the Taiwanese company at the MWC 2026 exhibition in Barcelona.

This is the first model in the Legion line without a discrete graphics card, but with the latest Ryzen AI Max processor.

What is known

The company has not yet revealed all the details of the gaming laptop, but it is already known that the Legion 7a will receive a 15.3" OLED display, weigh only 1.65 kg, and have an ultra-thin aluminum body — a rarity in the gaming segment. Obviously, such dimensions were achieved due to the absence of a graphics card.

The battery capacity has not been named yet, but a 180W USB-C charging is mentioned, which is also a big step forward.

The Legion 7a became part of Lenovo's line of devices based on AMD Strix Halo hybrid processors, presented at MWC 2026. These chips combine Zen 5 architecture, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and XDNA 2 neuroprocessor, providing up to 50 TOPS for AI tasks. This model will receive a 12-core Ryzen AI Max+ 392 with integrated Radeon 8060S graphics. Of course, such a configuration will not provide the highest performance comparable to top discrete graphics cards, but it is enough to run the most modern games on high graphics settings.

Sales are expected in June 2026 with an estimated price of €2000.
