Nothing Phone (4a) Launches: Dazzling New Glyph Bar, Triple Camera, and Stunning Colors for €350
Nothing held a presentation where it announced the release of the budget smartphone Phone (4a).
The new product cannot compete with flagships and even sub-flagships in terms of features, but the British brand, as always, focuses on style, unusual design, and the "price-quality" ratio.
What is known
Nothing Phone (4a) received an updated Glyph Bar backlight, which replaced the usual light strips. Now it's a single vertical panel of 63 mini-LEDs divided into six square zones. The backlight is approximately 40% brighter, supports animations for notifications, timers, and other system events, and looks more minimalist thanks to the redesigned transparent body.
The manufacturer also changed the button placement: the signature Essential Key was moved to the other side to be less likely confused with the power button.
Nothing Phone (4a) features a 6.78" screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 2720×1224 resolution, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The screen type is not disclosed, but it is likely AMOLED.
Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, ensuring high energy efficiency and stable operation in games and applications.
The Phone (4a) has a 5080 mAh battery with 50W fast charging support. The body is IP64 rated, providing resistance to dust and splashes.
Supports 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC.
The smartphone is equipped with an updated triple camera with a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP wide-angle lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5× zoom. The front camera is 32 MP. Overall, the camera block remains one of the strong elements of the device.
Nothing Phone (4a) is already available for pre-order in four colors, including the new pink and blue.
The version with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is priced at €350.
