TCL Unveils Ultra-Thin 32" OLED Monitor with 480Hz Mode and Bang & Olufsen Audio for $870

In addition to the fastest miniLED monitor with a frequency of 1040 Hz, TCL also introduced the flagship 32X3A monitor, which became the first model of the X-series and one of the thinnest OLED screens on the market.

What is known

The model features a 31.5” OLED+ panel with a resolution of 3840×2160 and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, and also has the capability of switching to a 480 Hz mode for esports, but for this, the resolution has to be reduced to 1080p.

The monitor stands out with its ultra-thin body — the panel thickness is only 6.4 mm, and the bezels around the screen are minimal, emphasizing a premium appearance. The design is focused on aesthetics and neatness, without aggressive elements, but the rear metal panel is equipped with a customizable Stargate light backlight.

TCL uses its proprietary OLED+ technology, which combines a multi-layer OLED LED stack and proprietary color calibration. The company claims improved text clarity and extended color space coverage — up to 99% DCI-P3.

An additional advantage is the built-in Bang & Olufsen acoustics — a rarity for ultra-thin monitors. This makes the 32X3A a complete multimedia center without the need for external speakers.

In China, the model is already available for purchase at $870 (converted from yuan), and there is no information on a global launch yet.
