Insider: smart watch Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 will receive 5-nanometer SoC, flat screen and thin bezels

Chinese insider Ice Universe posted on Twitter further details about Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 4 smartwatch.

So, the new item, according to the informant, will work under the control of a new 5-nanometer processor. Which chip it will be Ice Universe did not say. Most likely, we are talking about the proprietary SoC Exynos. 

The watch will also have a glass without rounding, as well as a reduced frame with a titanium alloy texture. The Galaxy Watch Active 4 will be launched in two versions: one with aluminum case, and the other will  have stainless steel. The gadget will be delivered with the Wear OS operating system, into which Tizen OS is integrated. 

When to expect

There is no exact date for the announcement of Galaxy Watch Active 4 yet. Presumably, they will be presented along with the regular Galaxy Watch 4 at a presentation in July or August.
