Dacia Unveils New Striker Wagon: Off-Road Style Under €25,000!
Dacia finally unveiled the new Striker model in full. It is a wagon with increased ground clearance, protective elements made of unpainted plastic, and a relatively low starting price.
What is known
Visually, the Dacia Striker uses some stylistic elements of the Dacia Bigster crossover, with which it shares a platform. The model is positioned as a "lifestyle wagon." Its price will compete with cars like the Kia K4 Sportswagon and Skoda Octavia Combi.
The car adheres to the brand's new design style. The body is characterized by sleek lines and an elongated silhouette. The front features a new light signature for the daytime running lights.
Other features include signature trim at the bottom of the front doors and a glossy black element connecting the rear lights. The textured body surface emphasizes the off-road character of the model.
Dimensions
The length of the Dacia Striker is 4.62 m, making the model slightly larger than the Dacia Bigster, which is 4.57 m in length.
The wagon features classic door handle bars along the length of the body, whereas the Bigster uses hidden rear handles.
Engines
The novelty will include:
- a hybrid version
- a hybrid with all-wheel drive
- a version with an LPG engine
Details of the units are yet to be revealed, but it is expected that the engine range will be close to the Dacia Bigster. Therefore, it may include:
- a 103 kW (140 hp) petrol mild hybrid
- the Hybrid-G 4x4 150 version
- Hybrid 155 with an automatic transmission
Diesel versions are not planned.
Prices
The starting price of the Dacia Striker should be less than 25 000 euros. For comparison, the prices for the Kia K4 Sportswagon start at 29 890 euros with a power of 115 hp, while the comparable Skoda Octavia Combi costs 29 840 euros.
The public premiere of the model has already taken place, but a full presentation with an interior demonstration is scheduled for June 2026.
