Next week marks the release of the ambitious action RPG Crimson Desert, which many journalists are calling one of the main contenders for the best game of 2026.

The Korean studio Pearl Abyss spent a huge amount of time developing Crimson Desert, released numerous videos, made a lot of bold promises, and now published system requirements that leave no doubt that the developer prioritized game optimization.

In short, Crimson Desert will run on low and medium settings even on many office laptops and old desktops, undoubtedly allowing it to capture the widest possible audience.
