Intel announced the Core Ultra 200S Plus processor lineup for desktop PCs. This is an updated Arrow Lake Refresh series focused on enhancing performance and improving memory handling. The new models feature more cores, higher frequencies, and an optimized inter-die bus.

The series includes processors — Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus with one modification each (Core Ultra 7 270KF Plus and Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus). In terms of specifications, they are somewhat superior to the Arrow Lake series chips but do not reach flagship status, yet they provide a noticeable performance boost.

According to Intel, the Core Ultra 200S Plus series offers:

  • 13–15% acceleration in games and work tasks,
  • higher efficiency in multithreaded scenarios,
  • an improved price/performance ratio compared to previous models.

Main Features

Core Ultra 7 270K Plus

  • 24 cores (8 performance + 16 efficient);
  • up to 5.5 GHz frequency in Boost mode;
  • improved multithreading compared to 265K.

Core Ultra 5 250K Plus

  • 18 cores (6P + 12E);
  • enhanced performance relative to 250K.

Intel also increased the inter-die connection frequency by 900 MHz, improving interaction between compute units and reducing latency.

Both processors received official support for high-speed DDR5-7200 memory and support for new optimization tools, including the Intel Binary Optimization Tool, allowing developers and enthusiasts to maximize the Arrow Lake Refresh architecture.

Release Date

Core Ultra 200S Plus processors will be available for purchase on March 26, 2026, becoming one of the key updates to Intel's desktop platform this year. The price of Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is $299, and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is $199.
