Tomb Raider I–III Remastered Unveils Major Update with Challenge Mode and Mobile Release!
Developers from the studio Aspyr delighted Lara Croft fans with two news items, both related to the Tomb Raider I–III Remastered collection, which was released on PC and all consoles in 2023.
What is known
First news: the edition received a major free update on all platforms, with the main new feature being the addition of Challenge Mode. It allows detailed customization of various aspects of the game's difficulty level, including Lara's health, damage, enemy types, and much more. The higher the difficulty level, the more rewards and unlockable features.
Additionally, developers have added 10 new costumes for the iconic adventurer, each offering unique improvements: faster running, deeper diving, and enhanced combat characteristics. Moreover, the game has added 15 new achievements related to Challenge Mode.
Second news: simultaneously with the update release, Tomb Raider I–III Remastered became available on mobile devices with iOS and Android, and received a native version for Nintendo Switch 2. A free demo allowing the first level of all three games is available on smartphones and tablets.
Let us remind you that the Tomb Raider I–III Remastered collection includes Tomb Raider (1996), Tomb Raider II: The Dagger of Xian (1997), and Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft (1998), as well as all additional materials for them.
Most likely, the same update will soon be received by the Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered collection
