If you were planning to upgrade your smartphone and don't mind shopping on Chinese marketplaces – we advise you to hurry up and do it literally today, because tomorrow – March 18 – Oppo, OnePlus, Vivo and iQOO are raising prices. And those who planned to buy Honor already missed it, as its smartphones have already become more expensive.

So, the new series of gaming smartphones Win RT in China became more expensive by 300 yuan (approximately $45).

The new prices are as follows:

  • version 12/256 GB costs 2999 yuan ($435) instead of 2699 yuan ($388);
  • version 16/256 GB is 3299 yuan ($480) instead of 2999 yuan ($435);
  • version 12/512 GB is 3399 yuan ($495) instead of 3099 yuan ($445);
  • version 16/512 GB is 3699 yuan ($535) instead of 3399 yuan ($495);
  • version 16 GB/1 TB is 4299 yuan ($625) from the previous 3999 yuan ($575).

The Honor price increase affects not only the Win RT series but others as well.

This reaction by Chinese manufacturers is a logical pattern against the backdrop of rising prices for RAM chips and components, and surely other brands will join them, not just Chinese ones.
