Insider: Huawei will unveil MatePad Pro tablet with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 on June 2
Despite US sanctions, Huawei seems to have obtained a batch of processors from the American manufacturer Qualcomm.
What's the matter
On June 2, Huawei will host an event in China where the Huawei Watch 3 and Huawei MatePad 2 tablets will be shown. As it turned out, these will not be all new items. According to an insider Digital Chat Station, a slightly improved version of the original MatePad Pro should also be expected at the presentation. Moreover, according to the informant, the gadget will be delivered not with the proprietary Kirin chip, but with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.
The novelty is also expected with 8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of built-in, 8 MP front camera, 13 MP main camera, 7250 mAh battery, and support for the second generation M-Pen stylus. The tablet should work out of the box with HarmonyOS 2.0 preinstalled.
