Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange now works with Apple Pay and Google Pay

American cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase announced a partnership with Google and Apple.

What we know

Coinbase Card holders will now be able to pay with Google Pay and Apple Pay. When paying, cryptocurrency will be debited from your Coinbase account and then converted into fiat money.

Coinbase customers will be able to shop with cryptocurrency at stores that accept Visa cards. In addition, the company will also reimburse for the use of Google Pay and Apple Pay up to 4% of the money in the form of cashback.

How to add a card

Android smartphone users can add Coinbase Card directly to Google Pay. IPhone owners, in turn, need to go to the Apple Wallet or Coinbase app to do this.
