Resident Evil Requiem: New Photo Mode Lets Gamers Capture Stunning and Hilarious Moments
The horror Resident Evil Requiem was released in an almost perfect state, but Capcom continues to strive for perfection and today released a major update.

The main innovation of the patch was the addition of a full-fledged photo mode, which can be activated at any moment during the playthrough in the pause menu to set up the frame for the most impressive or funny screenshot. As always with such options, players can choose depth, sharpness, lighting intensity, character pose, facial expression, and special effects.
The patch also includes:
- fixing a bug that led to a soft lock;
- correction of typos in some localizations;
- improved character facial animation in some cutscenes;
- general gameplay and graphic bug fixes.
Reminder, the plans for post-release support of Resident Evil Requiem include the release of a major story DLC, and "around May" the game will receive a free update with a certain mini-game.
Resident Evil Requiem is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2, and became the fastest-selling game in the franchise – the horror sold more than 6 million copies in just 16 days!
