Garmin's New Beta Update 26.06: Major Fixes for Smartwatch Users Revealed

Garmin has released a new beta update for a number of its premium smartwatches, focusing on improving the Garmin Coach service. It's about version 26.06, which is already available for Enduro 2, Fenix 7, Quatix 7, and Marq Gen 2 series models.

What is known

The update is currently being tested among beta program participants. Meanwhile, devices marked Pro will receive it later — exact dates have not been disclosed yet.

The main change is the fix of an issue in Garmin Coach that could lead to unexpected app termination. Engineers also eliminated text display discrepancies between the watch and the Garmin Connect app, particularly in the Power Manager section.

Despite the update, some features remain temporarily unavailable. In particular, in beta version 26.06, Dive and ECG modes are disabled, which is standard practice for test builds.

It is expected that the 26.xx update series will be released throughout April before the software moves into a stable version.
