The world of camera flagships has changed forever: Vivo officially introduced the X300 Ultra — the first smartphone with two 200 MP sensors.

Even before its announcement, experts called the newcomer one of the main contenders for the title of best camera phone of 2026, highlighting the serious focus on professional shooting tools and unique accessories that turn the smartphone into a full-fledged alternative to a digital camera.

Such Camera Modules Have Never Existed Before

The main feature of the Vivo X300 Ultra is its advanced camera system, developed jointly with Zeiss. The smartphone features a “3+2” configuration with three main modules and additional accessories. At the core is a 200 MP main Sony LYTIA 901 sensor, complemented by a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a periscope telephoto lens also at 200 MP. All modules are equipped with optical stabilization, and the device supports 4K video recording at 120 FPS with a 10-bit Log profile.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is aimed not only at photographers but also videographers: professional workflows are supported, including compatibility with cinematic post-processing standards. Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a four-microphone system for high-quality sound recording.

Photography Kit — An Impressive Arsenal of Accessories

Special attention is given to the external optical accessories that Vivo offers for the X300 Ultra. The smartphone supports professional modules, including a ZEISS telescopic converter with a magnification of about 2.35× and more advanced solutions up to the equivalent of 400mm, significantly expanding shooting capabilities at long distances. The proprietary Photography Kit also includes a detachable lens, adapters, protective cases, and an ergonomic grip with physical controls — a shutter button, zoom, and exposure settings. Combined with a camera cage and additional accessories, such a system essentially transforms the smartphone into a modular camera aimed at mobile photography enthusiasts and professionals.

Comfortable Screen and Flagship Specifications

The smartphone features a 6.82” AMOLED display with 2K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 4500 nits.

Under the hood is the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12 or 16 GB of RAM and storage capacity of up to 1 TB.

High autonomy is ensured by a 6600 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging.

As Are the Specs, So Are the Prices

The X300 Ultra is already available in China at a price (converted from yuan):

  • 12/256 GB — $1010;
  • 12/512 GB — $1085;
  • 16/512 GB — $1160;
  • 16 GB/1 TB — $1300 (the top version supports satellite communication).

The smartphone will be the first Ultra flagship from Vivo to receive wider global availability and will soon be available beyond China.
