Samsung to Hike Prices for Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7, and S25 Edge: What Buyers Worldwide Should Know

The prices for RAM chips, storage, and other components have somewhat stabilized in some markets and even slightly decreased, but overall the crisis continues and forces manufacturers to make unpopular decisions.

This situation has not spared Samsung, and according to Korean media, the company plans to raise prices for its flagship smartphones.

Prepare, but not all

According to the Newsway portal, starting April 1, Samsung will raise prices for the foldable Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, as well as the ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge.

For now, the price increase will only affect their home market (Korea) and only versions with larger storage capacity. Thus, models with 512 GB will become more expensive by 100,000 won ($65), and 1 TB versions by 200,000 won ($130).

What others should prepare for

It's unlikely that the price increase for the mentioned models will not impact the global market. Previously, a similar situation occurred with mid-range smartphones, including the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36, and it immediately affected price tags in most countries worldwide. Therefore, if you don't live in South Korea and were planning to buy the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, or Galaxy S25 Edge - we recommend not delaying.
