Estonia's ZA/UM Unleashes ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies on May 21—A Thrilling Spy RPG Adventure!
Estonian studio ZA/UM has revealed the release date for its game ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies. This company is known as the creator of Disco Elysium, which is still considered one of the best RPGs in the history of the genre. However, after its release in 2019, almost all developers left the studio amid scandal.
What is known
The new trailer announces that the game will be released on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) on May 21, and by the end of the year, ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies will be ported to PlayStation 5.
The novelty is positioned as a thrilling psychological spy thriller, centered around agent Hershel Wilk, who is trying to cope with the psychological trauma caused by the loss of her partners.
As in Disco Elysium, players will have to communicate extensively with characters, whose lines are also displayed in a vertical format, resembling a messenger, constantly making morally ambiguous decisions, applying various skills, and influencing the plot. The visual style also resembles the grotesque and rather aggressive design of ZA/UM's previous creation.
Until April 13, a demo version of ZERO PARADES is available on Steam.
