LOVX 4K Wireless HDMI Transmitter Hits Kickstarter Goal in Hours, Revolutionizes Cable-Free Home Entertainment

The LOVX team decided that in 2026, pulling a physical cable from a laptop to a TV is as much a relic of the past as floppy disks or wired phones and launched a campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for the LOVX 4K wireless video transmission system, which will help clear space from cords on the floor.

The Novelty Has Sparked a Frenzy

The startup introduced a wireless kit consisting of a transmitter and receiver. The project caused a frenzy among backers: the necessary amount for launching production was collected just a few hours after the campaign started.

Technical Specifications and Capabilities

The main task of the device is to replace physical HDMI cables while maintaining high image quality and minimal delay.

The device supports output of a 4K image at 30 Hz. For those who value smooth motion, a 1080p mode at 60 Hz is provided. The system can transmit a signal over a distance of up to 50 meters, making it suitable not only for home theaters but also for large office halls or educational auditoriums.

The transmitter uses dual-band frequencies of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, which minimizes interference in crowded wireless environments, so you don’t have to worry about connection stability. The stated input delay is less than 0.1 seconds — enough for comfortable video viewing or office work; however, for competitive gaming, such delay might be noticeable.

Design and Ergonomics

The kit is housed in an aluminum alloy case, giving it a presentable appearance and aiding in cooling. The transmitter features a physical button that allows you to instantly interrupt the transmission and resume it with a single press — a useful feature for privacy during presentations.

The device operates on a Plug-and-Play principle: no apps or local Wi-Fi network setup is required, simply connect power via USB-C and insert the HDMI connector. An interesting feature is the support for 'one to eight' configuration, where one receiver can be paired with multiple transmitters.

Price and Availability

At the Kickstarter stage, the price of the kit (HDMI or USB-C version) starts at $59 as part of a limited-time offer. The kit includes the transmitter itself, receiver, USB power cables, and necessary adapters (including Mini HDMI and VGA). LOVX also provides a standard 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects.
